Current role & background information
As the project Co-PI and member of the research team, Myriam is happy contributing her dual expertise in Neurosciences and Psychology to promote the mental health of adolescents through the YEY project. She firmly believes in the importance of providing the youth, through the youth, with emotional regulation toolkit and so-called soft skills to better navigate challenges.
She has worked on risk and protective factors of stress, anxiety and trauma and is particularly interested in resilience, growth and spirituality. She was also part of a team collaborating with the World Food Program on interventional studies to foster social cohesiveness and well being in addition to knowledge-acquisition in summer camps with vulnerable youth.
