BA in psychology, Lebanese American University

Rebecca Haykal is a Youth Facilitator at YEY. Rebecca holds a BA in psychology from the Lebanese American University (LAU) and is currently pursuing her MA in clinical psychology from University of Balamand (UOB). She has participated in an intervention program at Oum El Nour, which aimed at offering psychosocial support for impoverished children and adolescents in Beirut. She attended several workshops which revolve around psychological first aid (PFA), building resilience and relationships through emotional intelligence (EI). Due to her experience with Lebanese youth, Rebecca strongly believes that the YEY program is a major step in educating youth about emotional intelligence and is here to facilitate the transmission of the program.
